Fountain Lake Elementary FACES Program

Fountain Lake will continue the offerings in our elementary after school program known as FACES (Faculty and Community Enriching Students).  This program is a joint venture with The Paul Bewie Boys’ & Girls’ Club, Walnut Valley Baptist Church, Living Hope Worship Center, and our community, to offer free academic and enrichment activities for our elementary students.  The primary purpose of the 21st CCLC program is to establish learning centers that operate during non-school hours.  It is designed to assist students in meeting state and local academic achievements standards in core academic subjects.  Fountain Lake’s after school program has been very successful in meeting these goals.

We plan to offer four sessions of FACES during the 2017-2018 school year.  Each session will be six to seven weeks in length.  Applications for each session will be sent home about two weeks before the next session begins.  Applications for our first session will be sent out the week before school starts and must be due back on the assigned deadline date.  That first session will start on Monday, September 11, 2017.

All students enrolled in FACES will be picked up from the Elementary Cafeteria.

We are excited about being able to offer this program to our students.  For more information, you may contact Steve Freeman, Elementary Assistant Principal and Student Support Services Director, at 501-701-1708 or sfreeman@flcobras.com.
